Description

In this role you will be reporting to the Operations Planning Manager. Full training and support will be given to you regarding the company, procedures and systems. You will be required to have had previous planning experience, working within a manufacturing environment.

You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources across the manufacturing operation.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Be responsible for the Production Planning and producing weekly schedules, monitoring and adjusting based on real time demand requirements, optimising efficiency, across two manufacturing sites.

  • Produce and maintain Production Works Order, booking in daily manufactured outputs.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Commercial teams to align production schedules with customer demand.
  • Respond to production and stock enquiries- working closely with customer services to communicate any delays in supplying orders, keeping production teams updated with any scheduling changes.
  • Identify potential risks in production plans and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and Report KPI measures e.g. Compliance to Plan and Stock Outs
  • Monitor and maintain manufactured min/max parameters to ensure efficient stocking profiles of Manufactured SKU’s.
  • Build forecast of short-medium term production demand to support S&OP capacity reviews.
  • Support Operations Planning Manager and the Operations teams in executing plans and achieving business goals.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and ensure consistency across the planning functions.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Work with Production team to propose resource requirement to execute the plan.
  • Report on production status and any issues preventing the plan being achieved to the Operations Planning Manager.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with planning experience preferable.
  • Self-motivated, an excellent team player and able to communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel etc.)

Working hours:

Monday-Thursday 9:00-17:00; Friday 9:00-16:30 hours
